Judge not!!!

"Judging a person does not define who they are, but defines who you are"

I was shocked, confused, bewildered
As I entered Heaven’s door,
Not by the beauty of it all,
Nor the lights or its decor.

But it was the folks in Heaven
Who made me sputter and gasp–
The thieves, the liars, the sinners,
The alcoholics and the trash.

There stood the kid from seventh grade
Who swiped my lunch money twice.
Next to him was my old neighbor
 Who never said anything nice.

 Bob, who I always thought
 Was rotting away in hell,
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,
 Looking incredibly well.

I nudged Jesus, ‘What’s the deal?
I would love to hear Your take.
How’d all these sinners get up here?
God must’ve made a mistake.

‘And why is everyone so quiet,
So somber – give me a clue.’
‘Hush, child,’ He said, ‘they’re all in shock.
No one thought they’d be seeing you.’

Lesson learnt : JUDGE NOT!! This poem reminded me that it is God's job to judge others and not us. And, that no one except God is good and perfect.
Remember.....Just going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.
Every saint has a PAST
Every sinner has a FUTURE!

"Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?"

Don't know the author's intention of this poem. But, whatever it was it taught me a great deal about God :)
While reading this poem, it greatly reminded me the kind of people whom God chooses. It is completely different to the world's definition of morality.

This poem doesn't seem to contradict on what the Bible says.
Throughout history as written in the Bible, if we look at the people God had chosen, for example (list as far as I know)

Moses - murderer
David, Samson, Solomon fell for women.
Peter lied and denied.
Paul murderer who persecuted Christians.

Pharisees - followed the ten commandments, well-versed with the scriptures.

What does it conclude then?
So, on what basis does God choose people, if not on the basis of morality?
Have we misunderstood God then?
How do we get accepted by God, if not based on morality?
